The Open Source Experience is one of the European meetings of the Open Source community in Paris. The second edition of this event under this name will take place on November 8th and 9th, 2022 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. It will be an opportunity for the ecosystem communities to share their thoughts on Open Source in general and related and/or current topics: challenges and governance, sustainability, and its position in Europe among others, through more than 150 conferences with over 200 speakers and 80 exhibitors.

Long committed to the "digital commons" through its offer of Free and Open Source software - Lutece and now CiteLibre -, the IT Department of the City of Paris will be represented by Philippe Bareille, an Open Source officer at the CIO's office. He will be taking part in a first round table of the Open Source Experience on the theme of good governance, entitled "Developing OSPOs with the Good Governance Initiative (GGI)".  This roundtable will take place on Tuesday, November 8, from 11:10 to 11:55 a.m. in room 242 B.

Another flagship event at the heart of the Open Source Experience event, the Open CIO Summit, a think tank dedicated to Open Source "by CIOs for CIOs" hosted by the Salon. Philippe Bareille will participate in a second round table on "Open source governance in large organizations", on Tuesday, November 8 from 5:45 to 6:15 pm. Participation in this event is available upon registration.
